Launch of New Map, Neo Tokyo + New Quests
The Neo Tokyo map has been released! And with its launch comes a whole new series of quests that will let you travel through time to get to know the past, present and future Zipangu!

However, not all is rosy at Zipangu. Giant machines are bent on destroying the town and it’s up to you Maplers to stop them! Defeat the powerful Auf Haven and you might just be rewarded with the Auf Haven Circlet and other interesting items!

New Quests
Most of the quests can be initiated at NPC Asia located at Kamuna, Zipangu.

As you venture on through the series of quests to assist the Asia, Dida and many other NPCs in Neo Tokyo, you will realize that the future of Neo Tokyo depends on you.

There will be 3 different endings (the ending quest that is initiated at NPC Asia) to the future of Neo Tokyo which solely depend on the order of the quests that you have decided to proceed.
1. Quest: Each One’s Thoughts (Normal Ending)
2. Quest: Zipangu – For a Better Tomorrow (Good Ending)
3. Quest: Zipangu Overcoming Time (True Ending)

Do consider your options wisely before you proceed on any quests so that it will not affect the future in any way.

Launch of New Jumping Quest: Witch’s Tower (From 21st Oct 2009)
For Jumping Quest lovers, this is our latest jumping quest that will challenge your skills in a refreshing way. Test your skills as you escape the Witch’s Tower!

Maplers can enter the Witch’s Tower via NPC Fairy Tale Fairy Crackers located at various towns.

Click on the NPC Fairy Tale Fairy Crackers in the Witch Tower and choose the level of difficulty (Easy, Normal and Hard Mode) of the quest according to your skills!

Did I miss out the most important part that you will get to receive the treasures if you get to clear the quest (Normal or Hard Mode) for 5 times?

Now that you know, do train your character and get the treasures before the quest is gone on the 18th November 2009!

Launch of New Mini Dungeons: Drake’s Blue Cave and Pillaging the Treasure Island
Choose to immerse yourself in danger at the Drake’s Blue (via Cave Cold Cradle Map – Victoria Island) or hop over to the Pillaging the Treasure Island (via the Red-Nose Pirate Den 2 – Ossyria) to visit the Captain. The new mini dungeons are perfect for quick short runs!

Launch of Maple Trading System (From 21st Oct 2009)
This system is designed to enable users to make secure in-game item transactions using Maple Cash. Try using this system by clicking on the “Trade” icon located on the button right corner of your MapleSEA screen!

The Maple Trading System will remain in-activated for the time being so if you want to be the first to try our Maple Trading System, do watch out for the Maple Trading System button located on the button right corner of your MapleSEA screen!

Launch of Maple Life Tickets
There are 2 types of Maple Life Tickets: Maple Life (A-Type) and Maple Life (B-Type).

Maple Life (A-Type)

If you have an existing character that is Level 30 or higher in a world, a new Level 30 character can be created in the same world as your existing character.

For your new character, you can choose one of the following classes at 1st Job status: Warrior, Magician, Thief, Bowman and Pirate. Basic items and equipment and minimum AP points needed for your chosen 1st jobs will be allocated to your new character. All remaining AP and SP points will be left for you to distribute according to your preference.

Maple Life (B-Type)

This Maple Life ticket will come with an Extra Character Slot coupon which allows you to have an additional character slot (capped at 12 characters per world). The use of the Maple Life ticket is similar to the Maple Life (A-Type) ticket.

The Maple Life Tickets will only be sold in the Cash Shop for a limited time only, so grab them before they are gone.

Mu Lung Training Center has been revised!
The following changes have been made to the Mu Lung Training Centre:
1. Max training point obtained per day is limited to 3500.
2. Once the max training point of 3500 has been achieved, player may still train in Mu Lung Training Center; however additional training points will not be accumulated.
3. Monsters will be summoned at random spots.

New Balrog Easy Mode!
1. For Easy Balrog Expedition Squad (from level 50 – 70, maximum 6 users), you have to select channel 5 or channel 10 for the Quest.
2. For Normal Balrog Expedition Squad (from level 71 and above, maximum 6 users), you have to select channel 15 for the Quest.

Family System has been revised!
When a character belonging to a family is deleted, the character will be automatically removed from all other families belonging to the system.

Mesos and Fame of the character will be deducted upon leaving the family.

Monster Carnival has been revised!
Party Leader’s expel function will be limited.

Minor image bug while using Colonian Axe, Balrog Colonian Axe and Maple Impaler have been revised!

Launch of SG Medal Event (From 13th Oct 2009)
These new medals include the Medal of Honorable SEA Hunter and Medal of Honorable SEA Slayer.

	Medal of Honorable SEA Hunter (All stat +3, 30 days)	1. Defeat Capt. Latanica for more than 8 times. 2. Kill more than 888 Mr. Anchor.
	Medal of Honorable SEA Slayer (All stat +7, 30 days)	1. Defeat Capt. Latanica for more than 8 times. 2. Defeat Krexel for more than 8 times. 3. Kill more than 888 Duku.

Launch of Fishing Event (From 21st Oct 2009 ~ 28th Oct 2009 )
On 21st Oct 2009, all Maplers will receive a complimentary Fishing Rod which is valid for 7 days.
Maplers can use the Fishing Rod to fish for “Golden Fish” and “Golden Fish Egg” and exchange them for special item(s) with NPC Kendrick. The list of special items and their exchange rate is as follows.

a. 500 Golden Fish to exchange for Fairy’s Pendant
b. 300 Golden Fish to exchange for Strawberry Icecream Bar
c. 200 Golden Fish to exchange for Chocolate Icecream Bar
d. 100 Golden Fish to exchange for Melon Icecream Bar
e. 50 Golden Fish to exchange for Watermelon Icecream Bar

	That’s not all! The Mapler who has the largest number of Golden Fish as of 27th Oct 2009, 2359hrs will win a Reverse Weapon of his/her class.
	And the Mapler who has the largest number of Golden Fish Egg as of 27th Oct 2009, 2359hrs will win away a Fishing King Medal (All Stats +10 – Permanent Item).

Start fishing as soon as you get hold on of the fishing rod to be the one to receive the Reverse Weapon and Fishing King Medal!

Seek out Leader Al at Lith Harbor for more information.

Timeless Temple & Pink Bean

Let Corba transform you into a dragon so that you may cut through vicious winds to reach the Temple of Time, a mysterious temple in the sky. However, beware! It is whispered that within the temple dwells the strongest monster in Maple World, one that has yet to be defeated. Enter at your own risk…

Elin Forest & PQ

Elin Forest is the last place in Maple World where prehistoric monsters roam, accessible only by the Time Control Room in Helios tower. Yet, a Black Magician is trying to poison the forest! It is now up to you to stop him. (Hint: You will need at least a party of four!)

Maker Skill

Now all Maplers above level 45 will get a new skill! Simply visit Moren in Magatia town to learn the Item Maker skill after completing a quest. This skill enables Maplers to create equipment and is leveled up by completing quests instead of the regular SP. Stimulators can be used with the Maker skill to create better items, but there is always a 10% chance of failure.

Mu Lung Training Center

Only by surviving the Kung Fu Panda Master’s challenge, will you earn the title of a master! Prove yourself by taking up the challenge from Mu Gong, the Kung Fu master from Mu Lung Training Center and achieve different colored martial belts to signify your grade. You can reach the training center at any one of these locations: Mu Lung, Ellinia, Kerning City and Orbis town.

Free Pet Snail Roonie

Get the free pet, Snail Roonie when you complete a quest at level 15! This pet comes with free accessories that not only help you loot monster drops, but also recover your HP and MP. Just remember to free 6 slots in your inventory (1 Pet slot)for the pet and its accessories (5 Equip slots) and your pet will take care of the rest! Unfortunately, nothing lives forever and the same goes for Snail Roonie. So use Pet Roonie wisely.

Monster Book

Getting panicky from the information overload in Maple World? Now, there’s the Monster Book encyclopedia containing information of mob drops, monster location and various stats to help you. The best news is you will be granted a buff for each card collected (capped at the first 5 cards).

Title System

Daleer, the Priest of Honour, is here in Lith Harbor to reward medals for various achievements in Maple World! Once a medal is awarded to you, you will receive a title under your character’s name. Titles like The Legendary Hunter and Donation King are renewed every month.

Horned Tail

Dragon Stone can be acquired repetitively by completing the quest for “What Horned Tail left…”.
It can be used only once per each Horned Tail necklace.
When the members are remaining in the previous map, you cannot proceed on to the next map.
During the stage 1 and 2 in the Horned Tail cave, you cannot proceed to the next map without attacking the monster.

Mini Dungeon

Mini Dungeons’ time limit is extended to 2 hours.
Channel Transfer and Cash Shop entry are available from Mini Dungeons.
Monster riding is available in Mini Dungeons.
No more running into other users in the Mini Dungeons.
Mini Dungeons locations are now added in the World Map.

New EXP Table

With the new EXP table implemented, you can now level up more easily with about 70% to 80% of the effort you used to put it.

4th Anniversary Event

Maple Anniversary Drops!: Monsters all over Maple World will be dropping 1st and 2nd anniversary Maple weapons, Maple Hats, and Maple Shields. Monsters will also be dropping Maple Leaves and Sunshines for all the exciting 4th anniversary quests and events, so be sure to grab those drops to exchange them for special items!

Upgrade Your Weapons!: Go to the Maple Admin NPC to exchange your old 1st and 2nd anniversary weapons and 1,500 to 2,000 Maple Leaves for a 4th anniversary weapon, Maple Hat, Maple Shield, or Maple Earrings!

4th Anniversary Scrolls: If you have 1,500 Maple Leaves, you’ll be able to acquire a scroll from any Maple Admin NPC that’s exclusive to the 4th anniversary weapons!

Moon Rabbit PQ is revised. Bring the remaining Rice Cakes to NPC Tory in the Short Cut map. Once Tory has accepted an enough amount of Rice Cakes, he will reward you with a Rice Cake Hat.
New reward additions are included in the Ludibrium and Orbis Party Quest.

Map

The Forest of Patience map can only be entered once per day.
The Deep Forest of Patience map can only be entered once per day.
You can search for the Treasure Chest in Subway Area once per day.
The Delivery System is not available in Zakum’s Altar, Horned Tail Cave and Pink Bean map.

Common Skill for all classes edited
1. Warrior Awakening skill can be leveled up to level 5.
2. Maple Warrior master level increased to level 30.
Warrior job skills revised
1. Warrior skill “Power Strike” initial damage has been increased to 165%. Damage after mastering remains the same.
2. Warrior skill “Slash Blast” initial damage has been increased to 72%. Damage after mastering remains the same.
3. Spearman skill “Hyper Body” effective period increased to 300 seconds.
4. Fighter skill “Rage”, upon mastering, increases attack by 12.
5. Page skill “Threaten” applies to boss mobs. Effective period increased up to 120.

Inventory

Click the “Fold Inventory” button on the top right of the inventory window to view all the available slots in a glance. Clicking the same button again will unfold and close the expanded window view.
The inventory slots (Eqp, Use, Etc) can be expanded in the Cash Shop. (Cash, Ins are not available)
Clicking the “Expand Inventory” button in the Item Inventory window will bring you to the Cash Shop for slot expansion.
Slots in the Storage can also be expanded in the Cash Shop.

Tutorial

Deciding stats when creating a character by rolling dice is removed.
All characters will be given the same stats to start out with.
Beginner’s skill “Three Snails” does not require snail shells.
Auto distribute function is added in the Character Stat window. Remaining AP (Ability Points) will be automatically distributed suitable for job & level upon clicking the button.
An “Occupation recommend” quest is available when you reach level 8. You can still choose your preferred job if you do not like the job recommended by the Maple Administrator.
If you choose the recommended job, you can move to the job town directly instead of taking the ship from South Perry.
The required stat for 1st Job advancement has been removed. All newly-created characters will start up with the same stats.
You can still choose your preferred job regardless of the current stat.
Stats will be automatically re-distributed when making the 1st job advancement.
Recommended skill will be marked in skill window for the 1st jobs.

Party

The function for Finding Party is added in HotKey [O] button.
Search party among all users in the same map without additional registration.
Function to refuse party search is added in the game option.

Wedding

Propose ring can now be purchased with Mesos at NPC Alegro in the wedding village. Unnecessary propose ring can be sold back to NPC Alegro.

Item

The drop rate of the “Piece of Time” has been adjusted higher.
Drop item option is increased:
- Master Monsters will drop better items compared to regular monsters.
- Boss mob will drop better items than Master Monsters.

Quest

Quest system interface is revised. Chain quest will be shown with different icon, and the order of the chain quest will be available in the quest window.
Click the “Find NPC” button under the Available tab in quest log to see the location of the quest start NPC.
Button key [Q] is added in the quest alarm window [L] to open the quest window.
When you register a new available quest, [Q] will blink.

Buddy Window

Buddy Window interface has been revised. You can have a maximum of 100 buddies and categorize them into different groups.

Fee for meso trade and item sale in the Free Market has been downgraded.

Monster

Monster level will be shown on the left side of its name.
Monsters in Victoria Island are re-located.

Weird day lol..
Today hor .. so weird.. 1st lesson sci rite.. mr fu aly very weird sia.. say wed play 'bingo' which we had play during the chinese new yr celebration too.. next. he still say wan bring us go recess.. then we all like 'huh?' still need bring us go ? lol so strange.. then some ppl guess he treating us drink or punishment.. who no.. he celebration those so call d 'term 1 baby' which idiot called it.. lol.. so i thought whose bday. XD so meaning.. every term will celebrate bday sia ? woah.. if one cake cost abt $50 4 terms ... $200 gone le.. for a teacher sure piece of cake wor.. quite nice also the cake! haha juz that its coffee flavour if ice-cream cake will taste better.. juz giving opinion hor.. not saying not nice XD .. so next.. finish cutting finish eating juz nice bell ring.. one cake can cut into so so so many pieces.. i wonder how sia.. after cutting rite.. all the cream all coming out liao wor.. Finally bak from camp!! yippie!! ^^

Woah first day of camp.. we were split into 12 groups consisting 20 ppl per group..
group 1 - 6 will stay in sch whereas other will go camp christine haha.
which the owns by christine!! lol jk jk XD she herself said that too haha..
woah my group almost all no d.. juz some malay idk who r they..
gd frens most there d wor.. like py, di, kiwi, paper strong, ah gua XD
all so funny d. XD still kiwi they all funny keep laughing like siao..
lucky idiot not there lol.. if not whole group die liao
but its gd when cheering la.. can shout so loud..
1st day.. 1st activity .. abseiling so thrilling XD
at first when climbing out the railing rite.. so scary need to let go of the hand..
slowly slowly remove the hand.. and can slide down freely liao haha!
py go down so fast wor.. XD next.. went for the challenge thingy..
need 8 strong ppl standing inbetween the area surrounded by ropes..
onli they can touch the rope other cannot.
so some ppl need to help in the front to carry ppl up above the rope
so funny d lol so one by one all gone le .. XD left myself so gd rite
haha onli help ppl go up XD!
Next! now need most ppl to hold onto the poles and one ppl cross
something like the chair game..need to move the chair and the bak
to the front so that ppl can move from one point to another..
but this is onli one person crossing..
other need to hold onto the poles and the person climb across it.
so need fast and accuracy .. haha py also tio sabo need cross over
3 ppl crossing and distance less then 5m within 9min can?
XD made it la.. so next.. magic carpet..

First.. need build a thingy to shoot the water bomb..

building the tripot and the shooting thing.. so..
finish building rite.. instructor standing in the center XD
so fun wor.. 4 sub group shooting in the center

so leh. our group last to finish.. all ppl in the center..

next! lunch time!!
ah ha.. we sit on grass eat sia lol..
